Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

Our dearest Daughter, Sister, Friend, Wife, God-Mother, Auntie, Loved One, Darling, Sweetheart, Olushola Muinat Adeleye (nee Sunmola), MD, PGD, MPH,.

Shola as fondly called, was born in Lagos, on May 10, 1969 "the One whom God Loves & Who Loves others" was called home to be with the Lord, Friday May 1st 2009 in Katy, Texas after an endearing lifetime that touched others in a quiet nurturing way.

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15

A blessing of specific wealth - to those who find her, one that God nurtures - specially to give back, A wonderful blossoming testimony to the Glory of God.

Unique in Many ways.

A Sower / Adventurer, who left home (Lagos) at age 11, for studies north (Kaduna), then east (Enugu) for medical school, found love in the south south (Port Harcourt), returned to Lagos to work at Military Base Hospital and later relocated with spouse to South East Asia on the shores of the south china sea (Brunei), further & further away from home, and Clinical Medicine Practice.

Shola applied herself to preventive medicine, health promotion & awareness. Armed with a degree in Health Systems Management, a round-the-world trip in 2000 quickly convinced her that a good place to sprout some of her dreams would be in the west (USA), starting out with further Graduate studies in Tampa, grounding work with The Lawton and Rhea Chiles Center for Healthy Mothers and Babies, and then on to public health preparedness in Houston, one of the largest cities in USA,  where she led the Vaccine Preventable & Influenza surveilance teams at the city's Health Department.

Sholz in her calm manner was just about to breeze into Washington DC for clinical Family Practice Residency by June 2009.

Shols had the opportunity of living & visiting many different cities, interacting with a diverse number of peoples, cultures & places. She learnt so much and was always willing to give much more.

Calm under pressure, and would always find opportunities to help even in natural disasters or outbreaks of significant proportions. Hurricane evacuations were just not an escape for Shols, but rather a situation to give back, and reveal that inner strength.

Most weekends were spent nurishing others; Ashford Children every sunday as Children Ministry Director & sunday school teacher / Children's church coordinator, and saturdays helping the volunteers find opportunites to unleash their passions connecting with the minsitry.

Her life ought to be celebrated for she reached out and touched so many with her humble, kind & gentle demeanor.

unforgetable - thats who you are.

All you taught us, we will continue to nourish and grow.

You made many scriptures come alive

Your dreams will not die.

Her legacy
Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you?

Matthew 25:32-41 (New International Version)

32 All the nations will be gathered before him and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 "Then the King will say to those on his right 'Come you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink I was a stranger and you invited me in

36 I needed clothes and you clothed me I was sick and you looked after me I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him 'Lord when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty and give you something to drink?

38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in or needing clothes and clothe you?

39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40 "The King will reply 'I tell you the truth whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me.'

41 "Then he will say to those on his left 'Depart from me you who are cursed into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Blessed is he that considereth the poor.
Psalm 41
1Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

2The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
Be the Difference.

Be the difference

For His Sake

Matthew 19:29
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

Mark 10:29-30
29"I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.

Virtuous Woman

Proverbs 31:10-31 (King James Version)

10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

14She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
